Hi Dileepa,

For the cash upfront option, the rates are 0.15% of your trade amount subject to a minimum of USD18. The cash upfront option is only available for buy trades. Sell trades will be at the standard rate of 0.18% subject ot a minimum USD25.

Other fees include custodian fees, which is USD2 per counter per month which can be waived if you trade twice a month or six times a quarter. Assuming you do not have USD, you will need to incur FX fees, and DBS' rate is roughly 0.7%. Other than that, there are dividend handling fees which are 1% of net dividend subject to a minimum USD4. As mentioned by jw, there are better brokers out there with better rates.

On top of those mentioned by jw, I would reccomend Interactive Brokers if you trade frequently or have a large portfolio, and tiger brokers for their competitive comissions.

DBS vicker is expensive for NYSE. If i’m not wrong, there’s custodian fee too.

Some other cheaper options
-FSMone
-Saxo
-TD ameritrade
