What are the opinions of AIA Pro Achiever?

Hi everyone, would like to gather some opinions on the AIA Pro Achiever Plan and what are the different pros and cons. Have seen people commenting that it has high costs and will incur loses if one decide to withdraw halfway.

Would appreciate inputs from people who have this existing plan on why you chose it or from experts on this.

Hi, since Oct 4th 2021, the APA 2.0 has been launched to replace the original APA plan. It is now more attractive, offering up to 23% welcome bonus spread over the first 3 policy years. Although policy charge has been raised from 2.5% to 3.9%, the period within which the charge applies has been reduced from 12 years to 10.

There's now 5% bonus premium allocation from the 11th policy year onwards and 8% bonus premium allocation from the 21st policy year onwards with the new APA 2.0, up from a constant 5% bonus premium allocation from the 13th policy year onwards with the former APA.

What's new is the ability to invest in AIA Elite funds, something that was not possible with the original APA. πŸ€”

Overall I'd say the APA 2.0 is a much more attractive option, in particular for those who have had bad experiences playing the stock market. It might be a good option on a long term basis, and there's also the option of appointing your spouse, or child (16 and under), as the next insured in line should you pass on. πŸ˜‰

This is my personal post for the APA which i am invested in currently. For every product, there will be people for/against it so you will only know if you try. Make sure you know what you are getting yourself into first.
