My child 5-year old child is suspected to be on spectrum. I would like to check any specific insurance plans that would be beneficial for special children? Are there any limitations in Integrated Shield Plans that exclude conditions like ASD, ADHD or other developmental disorders?

Hi there,
The only way to know is to submit an underwriting application to find out what the insurer is willing to accept or decline. For hospital plans, they typically dont come with a loading so the only thing to take note of are the potential exclusions. That being said, exclusions are still better than having no coverage at all.
Your child would also have Medishield Life which is the government initiative for everyone so there is a certain level (though not entirely comprehensive) of coverage. Do consult a licensed financial advisor to explore your options.
