What are the drawbacks/ risks for someone using a Singlife Account?

So i recently heard of this account which says they gives 2% non-guaranteed returns, although anecdotally a lot people seem to be getting close to 2%. Apparently this is capital guaranteed account with a life insurance plan that plays out regularly? and also has a debit card? really sounds like theres a big if somewhere, especially since i always hear not to mix insurance with investments/ savings?

Hi
So far it's quite safe as most of us treat it like a savings account rather than an insurance product. This is because we can deposit/withdraw anytime via FAST to our local bank and there's no lock in period or penalties with interest calculated daily credited monthly.
