Hi all, any recommendations for brokers to buy SG stocks? I read a book on investing in SG and it recommended Maybank(but that was in 2016, I think there are better and cheaper options) I am still a beginner and would like to buy ETFs and bonds at low commission fees.

It depends on whether you prefer CDP or custodian.

Hi anon,
I'm from Phillip, but I recommend that you try out multiple platforms, after all, opening an account is free. Custodian based accounts tend to be cheaper in terms of brokerage.
Eventually, even the platform's interface is a moot point since you will get used to it with experience. At that point, you will be looking at finding a good broker whom you can work with in your investing journey.
