MBA Graduate at Singapore Management University
I have asked myself this question several years ago and came to conclusion that,
Study an accounting degree for my undergraduate +
Take a few internships (audit, bookeeping, management accounting, finance) +
Start ACCA or similar accreditations while studying for the undergraduate degree
would actually help to position myself as a highly attractive candidate...
But I ended up never working in accounting
I realised the better question (to me) should have been:
"What value do I want to create?"
While this is not the platform for my answer, I leave it to you to ponder upon the why you would like to study accounting to get a good job....
Cheers,
Pascal

The best Accounting courses are
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
Chartered Accountants (CA) Singapore
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Australia
Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA)
Employers would look for such qualifications as well as working experience.

You can try Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification Program (SCAQP). Most recognised accounting qualification, even local accounting grads will still go on to take this qualification when they are working.
