You need to tell us what this money is for. We can't advise you to invest if you need that money in the next x months.

You can scrimp and save but being over-zealous will cost you mentally, socially and physically. Do things in moderation.

If you have extra time, feel free to get a side hustle to earn that extra paycheck. But, never let this side job affect your main responsibilities (e.g. studying) by taking away too much energy and time.

Answering from your POV on fresh grads.

There’s not a lot of opportunities out there that can guarantee us a good pay check in our current covid situation. Not to mention the closing down of more and more retail outlets, and diploma graduates only taking back a pay of 1.2k-$1.4k (after CPF).

I’m currently an entrepreneur running my own business on zero capital while studying full-time degree now. If you’re keen to make more income without much resources (i.e. capital, network, knowledge) feel free to reach out to me.
