Singapore Savings bonds (SSB) are usually the safer choice, but its interest rates have been rather dismal this year itself. :(
Some insurance companies come up with seasonal bonds that are available on a period basis. FWD, Great Eastern, AIA are some examples that have come up with bonds previously, but I'm not sure if they are still offering now. They usually offer higher interest rates compared to SSB, but their capital or lockdown period may be bigger or shorter than SSB.
It is worth investing in them if you want higher interest rates than the bank/FD and you don't want to risk losing your capital.

Singapore Savings Bond is great if you want something low in risk and something you do not want to manage. Great for starters. Just gotta ensure you have sufficient cash flow because to reap the benefits to its maximum, you gotta put your money in for a good amount of years.

CPF is our pseudo-bond component for most Singaporeans, nil financial risk, only had policy risk

Hi Charlene,
CPF SA. Really. I consider it the AAA rated component of my portfolio. Which AAA rated bond can give a 4% coupon?
The catch is the usual stuff: Policy might change, it's one way till 55, and the interest rate might change too. But I believe in it, enough to justify my own personal RSTU contributions.
Beyond that, you can consider the Astera bonds, which are also pretty solid, and then lastly SSB, which has been rather lackluster this year in general. Sadly, the bond market on SGX has been rather weak. Variety and liquidity are poor.
If you have financial capability to go for corporate bonds, then that's another story entirely.
