Me and my wife is planning to have our wedding on 2026 but my wife has not been doing well for the past 1 year and she's down to no savings and I'm just an normal employee with around $4000++ monthly and sustaining the both of us.
As it's a tough time and we have to plan our wedding eventually, is there anyone that can share wedding payment milestones with hotels? Is that negotiable and which CC to utilise for best rebates?

From my understanding, no hotel will mind if you start paying early, but all owing amounts must be cleared by the wedding day/day of check-out. Your situation sounds like deferring payment rather than paying early? (No point, might as well save it than pay it off)
Unless there is pressure from the parents to hold a minimum size (they will have their guest list too), I agree with the rest to go for a small wedding ceremony. Honestly, not many people will remember your wedding, but they will see how your marriage is.
Lastly, wishing you & your wife-to-be all the best! May your obstacles and challenges help you grow and emerge stronger! :)
