Want to know how everyone feels about retiring in Singapore, versus places such as Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, others in Asia.

Retiring in Singapore is fine... if:

you have no furthur financial liabilities
ok with small housing
ok with coffeeshop kopi
healthy can walk around
ok with making new friends

I do want to retire in SG since my home and closed ones are all here. But to do that, I aim to have at least 1 million SGD net asset.

If no choice, I think Thailand cities are better retirement ground than Malaysia cities at the moment. Just my personal preference.
