I heard about many cc having exclusion for insurance payment and i called up maybank to ask specifically on this and was told that insurance premium payments are eligible transactions for their quarterly cashback incentive. Just to know if anyone is using this or any other cashback cc you are using which qualifies?

Hi Anon,
I don't use this card and am not too familiar with it, but 2 cards that you can definitely earn cashback on insurance payments with are UOB Absolute and AMEX True Cashback. Note that they are AMEX cards so it depends on whether your insurance company accepts AMEX. Otherwise, you can use them to top up the grabpay MasterCard (earns cashback) and use the grabpay card to pay for your insurance instead.
Hope this helps!

To add on (without getting myself into trouble). For RECURRENT payment, some cards require OTP for all form of payments (not this card). Pls take note if u r designating credit cards for recurrent payments.
