Hi Anon,
Personally, I wouldn't choose either. Not really a fan of cobranded KF cards because the earn rate is pretty mediocre anyways. The only good thing I can think of is that miles you earn are credited directly into your KF account, so you don't have to pay a fee to transfer miles from your credit card account to your KF account.
But in fact, this is a double edged sword because miles in your KF account only have a lifespan of 2 years (I think). This means from the moment you earn the miles, you have a very finite amount of time to use them, which is risky because in todays's covid environment, no one knows when they'll be able to travel again. If you use a regular bank card to earn miles, they either never expire (Citi PM, DBS Altitude) or have a lifespan in this account (usually 2-3 years) on top of the lifespan after it is transferred to your KF account, which effectively lengthens the lifespan of your miles.
