Traveling overseas soon or thinking of getting a Trust credit card?

There are two sign-up promotions worth checking out this October, depending on whether you prefer cashback or miles.

✈️ Option 1: Up to 100,000 Max Miles with the Trust Freedom Card

If you're a miles collector, this is probably the more interesting option.

Apply for the Trust Freedom Card, select Miles as your reward mode, and meet the eligible spending requirements within the promotional period.

Here's how the welcome bonus works:

• Spend S$1,000: Get 20,000 Max Miles + 1,300 miles from base spending
• Spend S$5,000 in total: Get another 30,000 Max Miles, bringing your total to 50,000 + 6,500 miles from base spending
• Spend S$15,000 in total: Get another 50,000 Max Miles, bringing your total to 100,000 + 19,500 miles from base spending

You don't need to hit the highest tier to receive a bonus. Your reward depends on how much qualifying spend you can accumulate. It's really the best no-fuss & no-limit card now, especially if you're going overseas or making purchase in foreign currency.

Important dates:

• Your card application must be approved by 31 October 2026 (it took a few minutes for me and my friends; you can start spending almost immediately using Apple pay or google pay).
• Qualifying spend must be reached within 31 days of approval or by 30 November 2026, whichever comes first.
• Redeem your Max Miles codes through HeyMax by 31 December 2026.

The codes are issued as scratch cards in the Trust app once you reach the applicable spending milestones.

Max Miles can be used towards travel rewards through HeyMax. The card also earns 1.3 Trust Miles per S$1 of eligible local and foreign spending, with no foreign transaction fee and no annual card fee. Trust Miles can be converted to heymax miles, which can be converted to KrisFlyer Miles or many other airline partner miles at a 1:1 ratio (Heymax is having lots of bonus conversion recently, now it's having 35% bonus Avios miles!).

💰 Option 2: Sure-win cashback scratch card of up to S$8,000

Prefer cashback over miles? You can choose the cashback reward mode when applying for the Trust Freedom Card.

New credit card customers can receive a sure-win Golden Scratch Card with cashback of up to S$8,000, subject to the promotion terms.

This is the simpler alternative if you prefer a cashback reward instead of working towards the miles spending milestones.

Note: These are alternative sign-up reward options. Selecting Cashback instead of Miles makes you ineligible for the 100,000 Max Miles welcome bonus.

📱 How to sign up using my referral code

1. Download the Trust Bank Singapore app.
2. Enter my referral code X4P5PYQA when prompted during sign-up.
3. Apply for the Trust Freedom Card and select your preferred reward mode.
4. If you choose Miles, track your qualifying spend in the Trust app and redeem each Max Miles code through HeyMax before the deadline.

A few things to note before applying:

• The Miles welcome bonus is for new Trust credit card customers.
• Not every transaction count towards the spending milestones but hospital & clinic are not in the exclusion list! Exclusions include insurance premiums, utilities, government payments, education-related payments and account top-ups, among others. Check the full terms before relying on particular expenses to meet a tier.
• Choose the reward route that fits your existing spending. There's little reason to spend extra just to chase a sign-up bonus.

Hope this helps anyone comparing cashback and miles cards this month! 🚀
