Trust Bank Promo Code 2GG9T8K3 (Oct 2026): Scratch Card or 100,000 Max Miles? How to Pick Before 31 Oct

Trust is running two different welcome offers at the same time this month, and I keep seeing people mix them up in the comments. They have different dates, different rules, and you effectively pick one when you apply. Here's how they compare so you don't lock into the wrong one.

Trust Bank promo code for both is 2GG9T8K3, entered at the very first "Get Started" screen.

Offer 1: Sure-win Golden Scratch Card (13 Aug to 31 Oct 2026)

  1. New Trust Freedom Card or Trust Link / NTUC Link Card customers get a scratch card worth S$18 to S$8,000 cashback.
  2. If you pick Stockback mode on the Freedom Card, the gift comes as fractional shares (US$18 to US$8,000) instead of cash.
  3. Savings account sign-ups get a smaller scratch card, S$8 to S$1,888.
  4. The card shows up under Rewards and then Quests, usually within 24 hours of approval.
  5. One thing worth doing: make at least one purchase on the new card soon after approval. Some third-party write-ups of Trust's terms mention a single transaction within about 30 days, so don't leave the card sitting unused.

Offer 2: Up to 100,000 Max Miles (approval between 21 Sep and 31 Oct 2026)

This one is new and only for the Freedom Card in Miles mode. You have to choose Miles during onboarding, not later.

  1. Spend S$1,000 within 31 days of approval: 20,000 Max Miles.
  2. Reach S$5,000 total: another 30,000, so 50,000 in all.
  3. Reach S$15,000 total: another 50,000, so 100,000 in all.
  4. Each tier arrives as its own scratch card with a redemption code, which you redeem in HeyMax.
  5. You also earn the regular 1.3 miles per dollar on that spend, and you must never have held a principal Trust credit card before.

So which should you pick?

Be honest with yourself about spending. Getting S$15,000 onto one card in 31 days is a lot for most households unless you have a big planned expense like tuition, insurance premiums or a trip. If you can't, the scratch card path is simpler because it doesn't ask for a big spend and everyone gets something. If you can comfortably reach S$5,000 or more, the miles path starts to make sense, especially if you already collect Max Miles or KrisFlyer miles.

Since you can only be a new Trust credit card customer once, it's worth deciding on this before you tap Apply, not after.

Other Trust promos running alongside

  1. Stockback mode earns 3% in fractional stocks on eligible spend (capped at S$500 a quarter) until 31 Dec 2026, then the rate is scheduled to drop from 1 Jan 2027.
  2. The Trust Link Card offers up to 21% savings at FairPrice Group for NTUC Union members (up to 15% for non-members), but this depends on meeting a monthly spend condition outside FairPrice.
  3. On the savings side, Trust's Flex Plan can reach up to 2.40% p.a. if you hit any 3 monthly bonus "scoops". Zen is a flat 0.40% with no conditions, so don't assume the base account earns the headline rate.

Quick steps

  1. Download the Trust Bank SG app.
  2. Tap Get Started and enter 2GG9T8K3 straight away. It can't be added afterwards.
  3. Verify with Singpass.
  4. Apply for your card and, if you're chasing miles, select Miles at this step.
  5. Wait for approval, then check Rewards and Quests.

Eligibility reminders: you need to be new to Trust (a previously closed account still counts against you), and the Freedom Card asks for S$30,000 annual income for citizens and PRs (S$60,000 for foreigners). Without the income, the savings account route is still open.

I put the same steps, the full list of live October offers and the FAQ together on the full October promo breakdown, which I update when Trust changes terms. Terms can change, so check Trust's own referral page before you apply.

Disclosure: that link is my referral page, and I get a small referral benefit if you sign up with my code. It doesn't change your own reward.

Which way are you leaning, scratch card or miles? And has anyone already hit the S$1,000 tier and redeemed the first 20,000 Max Miles in HeyMax?
