Trust Bank Freedom card: 100,000 Max Miles sign-up bonus ends 31 Oct — is it worth it for miles chasers?

For the miles community here — the Trust Freedom card Miles mode promo expires tonight and I think it’s underrated in the miles card conversation.

The maths:

  • Base earn: 1.3 mpd on ALL spend (local + overseas, no FX fees)
  • Sign-up bonus: up to 100,000 Max Miles via spend tiers within 31 days of approvalS$1,000 spend → 20,000 Max Miles
    S$5,000 spend → 50,000 Max Miles (cumulative)
    S$15,000 spend → 100,000 Max Miles (cumulative)

  • 100,000 Max Miles = up to S$1,800 via HeyMax FlyAnywhere at ~1.8¢/mile

  • Max Miles transfer 1:1 to KrisFlyer (S$27.25 fee applies)

What makes it interesting:
No annual fee, ever. Most miles cards with a comparable sign-up bonus charge S$180–S$500/year. The 1.3 mpd base rate is also solid for a no-fee card — better than many fee-paying cards in their base tier.

Catch: The S$15k spend tier to unlock all 100k miles is high and must be hit within 31 days. Realistic for people with big bills coming up or who use it for business expenses. The S$1k tier (20k miles) is much more achievable.

How to apply: Referral code 2GG9T8K3 at first app screen. Select Miles mode during Freedom card onboarding (update app first or Miles option may not appear).

Ends tonight. Worth considering if you’re already planning a new card.
