Trouble using IBKR platform. How to make a purchase?

I've already requested for trading permissions to acess the HK & LSE but when i try to buy the ETF/stock that I want, it says "You do not have permissions to trade this contract" & they prompted me to Request Trading Permissions again. Anyone encountered this?

Hey! Used to encounter this issue in the past. Try to use the web version, and go to your permissions. From there, you can choose which permissions to allow/deny. By default, if I'm not mistaken, only SG equities (Maybe US too?) are allowed, thus you need to manually allow if you are looking to expand to HK/LSE. Hope this helps :)

Now that ibkr has removed the inactivity fee, would it make more sense to buy fractional shares from ibkr instead of using fsmone rsp? Thoughts pls!!
