Hi everyone! Currently a uni student and have been thinking of getting a student credit card and was wondering if you guys would have any advice for someone starting out on credit.
I understand the importance of paying the credit card bills on time as well as not spending above my means (I’m doing this to improve credit score after all), but are there are lesser known tips, perhaps on how a student can maximise and utilise it best? Appreciate the help!

Don't spend for the purpose of getting credit card rewards.
Never carry a balance between bills.
Cancel your card before you graduate, so that you will regain new-to-bank status (~12 months after canceling) and become eligible for signup rewards.
