Thoughts on Feb Canberra BTO 2020 2nd floor for 4 room? Left with 3 units and its all level 2. Will there be value if were to sell 5 years later? My appt is this week?

Hi.

Level 2 has the lowest value for resale.

Value after 5 years? Maybe. Depends on the resale market. You could most likely sell off after MOP, but how much is all depends on the market pricing and area pricing 5 years later.

So IMO, i won't go for level 2. If that's me.

I'm currently staying in a 4-room BTO and am thinking of upgrading to a 5-room resale due to space constraints. I've only learnt about "lease decay" recently. Do people usually "earn" when they buy a 5-room resale and sell their 4-room BTO?

What are the financial considerations to make in wanting to upgrade from a 4-room BTO to an EC/condo after 5 years. Approx how much savings does one need and the joint household income level. ?

Can review my portfolio? 1) IWDA: $10,000 (invested beginning of this year,2020) DCA monthly: $1,500 2) STI ETF: $18,000 ( invested since 2018, having a loss) 3) Unit Trust: $10,000, (value: $11,000). Any suggestions?
