Hi, 30M and got quoted premium of 1.7k for a critical illness plan covering ECI 150k + CI 150k, multipay up to 500% of sum assured, till age 70.

No its not reasonable based on "risk" for critical illness at that age, unless had poor lifestyle and childhood nutrient. This assuming person is working, so has company insurance. The CI cover is only until 70 years old, and think real high risk comes from 60-65 years and above.

Seems reasonable. myself similar age and after talking to my agent(lucky to have an honest one) told me to drop the mult pay becuase in his experience , not much people will live to claim 3X
