Telco recommendations

Hi all, I have has bad experiences with the Singtel's customer service multiple times for over charging me, cancelling my Singtel music plan while charging me a termination fee without my approval etc. I have gone down in person and the customer service personae in the store are also not very helpful and have experienced rude service. So I am considering switching service providers when my current SIM only plan with Singtel ends.

Any recommendations for a telco with decent coverage and better customer service? A search on reddit shows bad customer service experiences from GIGA, GOMO, Circles too. Any advice?

M1 is expensive and over priced. previosuly use singtel but many issues and switch to m1. now switch to simba which is best for roaming and free IDD. However some area coverage has issue

I had switched from GOMO Simba eight. GOMO has good coverage, but the customer service is not great. Simba has v lousy coverage. Have been using eight since Aug 24, satisfied with it so far. Downside is that it only offers 4G network thus far and has some blindspots when traveling on the train.

GOMO is Singtel network so you can't switch there. All Singtel based provider would be out for you except if you switch to one other provider, wait for two month and then go back to a Singtel based provider.

I used Simba for some time. Problem is their coverage still has lots of gaps especially on DTL. The price is good though and the roaming is much better than many other provider. I recently switched out to ZYM mobile (Singtel network)

  • 5G and 4G network which is cheap and good. The customer service is good as well. Can be reach via their chat function on website. 5G is $15.10 and 4G is $7.70.
