Switching to OEM: Is now a good time?

Hello Seedly community, I have been delaying my family's transition to OEM but finally got round to doing it.

But I realised that the fixed rates of Senoko and a few other retailers are priced higher than my current rates with SP @ $0.2411/kWh.

This is probably due to oil hikes due to geopolitical games in the Middle East.

But this still begs the question: Is now a good time or should I wait?

Imo there's never a wrong time lol. Given that prices most likely will increase, you will always benefit from switching. U may notice prices are higher than sp but i went to google abt it and it is just the retailers way of charging for a fixed plan. They need to account for future inflation. My iswitch used to be 0.1776 only! But they use a separate billing and has $5 mthly service fee. So do read carefully the fine prints !
