Supposing spouse and i have saved up and managed our finances pretty well, and we are considering to buy a car. Should we buy a car or are we inflating our lifestyle?

Time is money. If having a cat lessens the friction n lowers the pressures of everyday living, why not?

I suggest to save up more money before getting a car. By a car, what type of car are you getting as well.

Depends on how important it is vs how much money you are paying.

Is the time saved (if any) worth the money?

Did you also consider the holistic cost of car ownership including petrol, insurance, road tax, ERP, parking etc?

How often will you use it?

Is a car truly more convenient than public transport?
