Should my mom sign up for Care Shield Plan at age 83 (she is healthy and working), she doesn’t have an Elder Shield Plan. Her annual premiums is $4845.42 for 2024. The payout is not a lot either.

Run some numbers and then compare, estimate a life expectancy and then estimate the age of claim, put the numbers together to have an idea. Of course, things can change in the future. So see what works for u.
