Should I transfer my stocks to CDP?

I have SGX stocks in my custodian account (Tiger), however, as these are for long-term investment, I would like to transfer it to CDP for more security as advised by my friends. Should I transfer it? If yes, how do I do the transfer?
Thank you in Advance!! 😊
