I have SGX stocks in my custodian account (Tiger), however, as these are for long-term investment, I would like to transfer it to CDP for more security as advised by my friends. Should I transfer it? If yes, how do I do the transfer?

Honestly, Custodian accounts who have been approved by the MAS (usually under capital market services liscene) are really good and serve the same purpose!

The only thing is you don't get to vote at the AGMs, which are not a big deal, having been to a few of them, usually herd mentality.
