Cryptos are not beginner-friendly regardless of the platforms. So I think you should study more about crypto first. Personally, moomoo as a crypto trading platform charges higher fees than elsewhere, but at least moomoo is less likely to be insolvent (think of FTX). But of course, do your due diligence first.

If you don't understand the instrument (crypto), crypto is high risk and if you really want to try, just invest the money that you are really okay with losing.
