If you’ve substantial knowledge on how and where to invest your 10k, I would choose that over a long-term savings plan just because of liquidity reasons, although that would come with higher risks.

Worthwhile noting that not all savings plans / endowment products are made equal. Some are capital guaranteed and others are not and thus depending on which savings plan you choose, there may be some level of risk involved.
Depending also on your timeline with this $10k you might prefer to invest it rather than save it, given that your chances of positive returns increase with the duration invested.
