I'm just shocked by how crazily expensive it is for a smartphone by Apple these days.

As an apple fan and Samsung user, what iphone 12 offers is mobile performance as seen from this article : Apple bionic CPU performance iPhone 12 embarrasses the competition in first benchmarks. Furthermore, as a full technology stack company, Apple ensures means that phone usage is a breeze. For camera performance, Apple is trying to differentiate but so far it is not as good yet. My iphone 11 camera constantly reminds me why I can't use it in many low light situations. That's why I have a second handphone with me, a Samsung galaxy s10.

As an Apple fan, my answer is going to be quite biased but I think it is worth the upgrade if you have the older iphone models and are looking for an upgrade. I've always been a fan of Apple's interface and user experience. I no longer see myself having another phones (i.e Samsung, Google, Huawei etc)

I have the iPhone 11 Pro for a year and do not see myself getting the new iPhone any time soon. It still works fine for me! But I understand others may find some faults in their phone already and are looking forward to the kind of premium experience that Apple phones offer (or just experiencing the apple brand itself)

I'd agree that it's really quite ridiculous to see how expensive each iPhone gets every year and it would be more economical to get a laptop, but you may consider the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini or iPhone SE for a more "affordable" price range and still get to experience the Apple software/interface.

I'm shocked too! I realized purchasing an iPhone is almost equivalent to buying some laptops. HAHA. ...
