S and P ETF

I have not much time to read stock market news daily and think S and P etf will be suited for me. Which one should I be looking at ? Could I get some advice on this ?

You can consider investing in CSPX which is listed on LSE. Reasons for investing in CSPX includes:

  • 15% witholding tax as compared to S&P etf listed in NYSE which is 30% (examples include voo, ivv, spy)
  • Dividends are automated reinvested

However, brokerage fees are higher when accessing LSE. On IBKR tiered account, minimum currency conversion fee is 2 usd and minimum trade commission is 1.7 usd.

Hi, I'd definitely recommend CSPX. It is an irish domiciled etf that tracks the S&P500. It is more tax efficient compared to its US domiciled counterparts (15% vs 30% withholding tax) and is an accumulating etf, which reinvests dividends automatically. This maximises compounding and saves brokerage fees.
