Reorganising portfolio: sold VTI, VOO, IWF plan to buy CSPX. Thoughts?

The reasons are

1) Tax efficiency (15% for LSE instead of 30% for NASDAQ)
2) Accumulating dividend (CSPX is accumulating less hassle)
3) Using POEMS since I have an account
4) Time efficient (Combining three ETFs to one since they are similar)

Hi Anon,

I'd say that's a very logical move! VTI, VOO, and IWF are indeed very similar and there's not much reason to be holding all 3 separately.

Broker-wise, I'm not sure that POEMS is the best choice - the commission fees are pretty hefty. However, if you're planning to lump sum and hold, that shouldn't be too much of an issue. Otherwise, you can also consider Saxo or IBKR.

Hope this helps!
