I am using Saxo Investor for my personal invesments (mostly in VOO and QQQ), and I want to set up instructions to have my dividends reinvested.
I saw that Saxo has a guide to help set up dividend instructions (https://www.help.saxo/hc/en-sg/articles/3600245...), but it says you can either choose to have the dividends received as cash or securities.
My question is: if I choose to have it received as securities, is that the same thing as having them reinvested?
Thanks in advance!

Essentially the same, basically the company gives you securities in lieu of cash dividend, save you an effort of reinvesting your cash dividend which can incur trading cost like commission.
