I have SSBs with interest rates <2.5% (maturing in 2027/28). I wonder if I should redeem them now to put into T-bills instead? I will have to pay $2 for early redemption of SSB. Is there any fees for T-bills? (haven't bought any before)

Why not redeem and apply for the new SSB with higher rates?

Another option is to redeem for this month's SSB which is still higher than yours...

Banks do not charge a fee for investing in T-bills at this moment. Anyway, the fees for investing in SSBs are also small as compared to the potential interests earned i.e. buy and redeem each at $2. Buying into either instrument really depends on your investment horizon at the end of the day.
