Realised that some cancer insurance is lacking of the gastrointestinal stromal tumour cancer in the early cancer coverage? Is there anyone who knows the reason why? Thank you?

I am not sure which insurer/policy you might be referring to, but when it comes to early critical illness coverage, the definitions are define by the insurer. Omission of certain conditions might be due to a higher risk factor, thus the insurer not wanting to provide coverage for such an illness. At the end of the day, the insurer is there for us to transfer our health risk, however the list is not infinite, and the coverage will definitely be curated to have a fair approach between consumers and insurer.

My company provides coverage for GIST. although future definitions might request the condition to have a rating higher than T1N0M0 for a claim.
