Preferred ecommerce platform(s) for daily necessities, electronics, electrical appliances, furniture, etc.; and reason(s) for the selection.

ECommerce platforms (Amazon, Lazada, Qoo10, Shopee...) are assumed to offer numerous choices and with equivalent goods at lower price than the brick-and-mortar stores. Sometimes, pricing may not be the sole deciding factor (cheap not necessarily of quality) for the selection. Reward program, delivery fee/service and customer service could play a part too. Do share your preferred online marketplaces for the corresponding items (daily, big-ticket purchase like?) especially during this inflationary period.

It is very strange that Seedly deleted my previous post which I shared about Olio app. The reason was it's a promotional post. In what sense? I'm just a common app user. Here's the original post:

Olio is an app which aims to reduce waste and at the same time really helps to save on unnecessary spending. It allows the community to list pre-loved items that they want to give away (no sale allowed but you are free to bless the person with a token of appreciation during your meet up). Most of the items are still in very good form and some are even brand new, maybe some food have short expiry but it's completely safe to consume or the person just don't like the taste. I've put up things like bags and clothes to give away too. I've also put up packets of korean instant noodles that I find too spicy. Things I bought during a sale like Buy 1 Get 1 Free and I couldn't finish it (expiring in 1-2 months), or skincare product that I've opened and used once and find it not suitable. There are people who don't mind and want it. So i think it's a good platform to reduce waste and bless someone. At times, you can find some rare items like old pieces of home decor and furniture. It's almost like a thrift store, except you don't earn from or pay for the item. You can schedule a meet up or place the items outside your home.

Recently been using Amazon more to purchase items that are not available in Singapore. Was looking around for a backpack and Amazon have a cheaper price as compared to Lazada or Shopee
