Other than the DBS Altitude, other there any other cards that I can use to hack Miles through grab?

I see that the DBS Altitude 4.0mpd promotion for grab is ending on 31 Dec, unfortunately I haven't applied for it and think it wouldn't make sense with the year ending. Are there other deals out there that will allow me to hack miles through grab? am quite new to this so sorry if this sounds dumb to you!

Hi anon,

If you are referring to grab rides only, you can consider the following cards:

  • DBS Woman’s World Card - 4 mpd, limit $2K/mth

  • UOB Lady’s Card/UOB Lady’s Solitaire - 4 mpd, cap $1K/mth (Lady’s Card), $3K/month (Lady’s Solitaire). The category must be chosen as your bonus category at the start of each quarter. Lady’s Card gets one bonus category, Lady’s Solitaire gets two bonus categories. GrabPay top ups included

  • Citi Rewards Visa & Citi Rewards Mastercard - 4 mpd, cap $1K per month.

  • Maybank Horizon Visa Signature -3.2 mpd, min $300 total card spending in a month.

  • AMEX KrisFlyer Ascend - 3.2 mpd, cap $200/mth. Includes GrabPay top up

  • AMEX KrisFlyer Credit Card - 3.1 mpd, cap $200/mth. Includes GrabPay top up

  • KrisFlyer UOB Credit Card - 3 mpd (with min $500 spend on SIA-related transactions in a year). Also includes general taxi rides. Bonus miles credited 2 months after the card anniversary

  • HSBC Revolution - 2 mpd. Includes GrabPay top up

Took this info and condensed it from the very excellent guide written by the Milelion here, all credit is his:

Applying for a credit card can be quite fast, so no harm applying.

And lastly, there are no dumb questions :)

It is alright, we learn together! =)

It depends on which card that you are holding onto. Having mentioned that, do not apply credit cards for the sake of miles. As always, spend only money that you can afford. Additionally, do not apply too many cards at one go as it can hurt your credit score.

You may consider Citi Rewards card - 4 miles per dollar, capped at $1k monthly.

You may also consider Kris Flyer Ascend card.

Both are decent for miles.
