Credit card uses 'future' money. Meaning the bank pays for you first then you pay them later. Debit card uses your own money to pay for purchases.

A card comes with two functions: VISA/Mastercard/Amex/etc, and NETS/ATM.

The default when you pay via "card" will be VISA/etc - which is a credit account. You spend, wait for the bill, pay your bill. Don't overspend.

Most cards issued in Singapore allows you to use as a NETs (check the back of the card for the logo). Link your account to it, and you can use it for ATM functions and also for NETS payment (with a PIN of course).

Nope. Credit card have tap to pay function but it don't work like NETs or debit card

Using debit card to pay means the money is deducted straight from bank account

Using credit card to pay means you can buy things first, 1 month later get the bill, then you pay with your account money

No, credit cards and debit cards are totally different. Credit cards allow you to buy on credit where the bills are settled later. Debit cards allow you to buy not on credit where the bills are settled instantly. There is only one similarity : you can earn cashback for some credit and debit cards.
