My hubby lost his job and now games 7 days a week on twitch. He tells me one day he will make it big and become a millionaire. Quite ridiculous?
2 years later, later I don’t think he has gotten anywhere and I want him to go back to work. Is it unfair to ask, he is a local law grad.
Any advice to convince him?

Give him a time limit. Most successful twitch streamers make it within a year to two. If he is still adamant, negotiate with him about a time limit to make it big. Else, it's time to come back to reality.
