He recently got injured during a job and his insurance plan deductible was really high (about $10K), so he had to pay the bills himself. What other types of coverage should I buy for him?

I think first & foremost, its good to have a review on his current hospital plan, if it has comprehensive and sufficient coverage.

As of the other plans (e.g. Term, Shield, Life), it is needs base depending on affordability, age & other factors.
