Currently considering SSB ladder in DBS multiplier. Has to be liquid cash. Regarding the DBS multiplier, are there any better ways to get the "Salary" criteria? I don't really like the SSB yield now

Hi Joel,
You can always redeem and purchase the next SSB, in this case your opportunity cost would be $4. (If the interest generated is more than the opportunity cost)
Any dividend from your CDP account would qualify, but corporate dividend might not have a fixed payment date, thus you may be at risk of not hitting the salary criteria.
Also, do ensure that your total transaction amount is more than $2000 otherwise the interest rate is only 0.05%.

Hi Joel, I'm not sure if this is applicable for you but one possibility to fulfill the 'Salary' crediting criteria is to open a joint account and have the joint account holder credit his/her salary into that account. This will fulfill the salary crediting criteria for both you and the joint account holder's DBS multiplier accounts.
