I mean supply and demand. If more Singaporeans willing to pay that kind of price, as developers, they will want to sell at higher price.

Well, new launch condo prices are starting at about $2,000 psf in this current market... and it's been more apparent since our path to recovering from the impact of Covid-19. (Prices have been hovering within this range for quite some time now, anyway.)
It doesn't seem like demand is levelling, since the most recent new launches such as Piccadilly Grand and LIV @ MB have sold over 70% of their offered units. Foreigners aren't taking a step back either, with some still investing in Singapore property despite the 30% ABSD. This could just be the beginning of a price increase for the private property market, hence why so many younger couples are going for resale HDB flats (though prices are also rising as a result of pent-up demand of those unwilling to wait the BTO construction delays of 4-5 years)...
