Mine doesn't even get influenced by his friends. He is passionate about animals and wants them in all shapes n sizes. His favourite animal is the hippo. Guess how many of them he has? Nine!

These days I just give him 50 cents every other day because I want him to learn how to save. So currently he needs to save $10 more bucks in order to get another giraffe. He has stopped whining about getting this giraffe because my wife and I have already conditioned him that he can only buy a new toy when he saves enough.

and honestly I don't think it's easy to say nope to your kid lar. Mine can be particularly persistent. I can say nope to him now but he will encounter another thing and ask me to buy it. I may still say nope again but he asks me so incessantly that I eventually succumb to his desire. Very tough nut to crack!

Erm kinda.. but thats when you can educate them and also maybe dont buy too many of the same thing.

And its also your effort to keep things neat and tidy.

Sorry no judgement.

Even if they want it, it doesn't mean parents have to buy?? so it is up to the parents whether they ...
