Both are pretty similar. I chose to go with VWRA as they have an emerging market component which I like.
I believe IWDA does not have one and you need to add the EMIM component to have some exposure to the emerging markets.
As a young investor, I believe having exposure to EM should hold my portfolio in good stead for the future. https://dollartriumph.com/which-global-etf-the-...

VWRA and IWDA invest in 2 separate indexes:
VWRA: FTSE All-World Index
IWDA: MSCI World Index
FTSE All-World is an index which tracks both emerging markets and developed markets, while MSCI World tracks developed markets only.
EIMI (which tracks MSCI Emerging Markets IMI) is often suggested to complement IWDA so that you have exposure to the overall performance of the world's markets.
In my opinion, I would rather go with VWRA, since I want to be exposed to both developed and emerging markets. It is also more convenient than having to buy both IWDA and EIMI. If you are looking to have developed markets exposure only, then IWDA (or SWRD) is a good option!
