Do you mean recommendations for low cost brokers?
no fees: dollardex, poems,
low fees: FSM
slightly higher fees: DBS and OCBC DIY platform (but still lower than ILP fees)
but if you mean what funds to recommend, must understand more about your situation, objectives etc.

Generally, one tends to associate a higher cost with most investment-linked policy funds as compared to investing on your own. Consequently, I'm not sure which fund your FA is recommending you that fits into your low cost criteria.
In your case, you may consider funds from Vanguard or Dimensional as both boasts to be low-cost investment options for investors.
