Just started using IBKR and the desktop app is rather complicated. Anyone feels the same way?

Basically I just opened an IBKR account, and I am having troubles navigating the desktop app. I find that the browser trading platform is so much simpler than the desktop app. Anyone has any tips on how to navigate IBKR's desktop app? TIA!

After using IBKR for about 9 months, I wholeheartedly agree. The desktop app looks like it was made in 1999 and never updated beyond that LOL.

I think this tutorial is ok when starting to customise the layout for your own needs:

If you wanna trade options/daytrade, then your layout might need to be customised further to fit in other elements (options chain, IV chart etc.).

But tbh, if you're looking to just buy and sell stocks (long term investor), then I think the mobile app suffices (at least for me).
