Earlier this year, my department expanded and my role has been changed which involves me frequently reporting to upper management. These reports involve never done before analysis which even SMEs are unable to help with. I am now struggling with work and have suffered major depressive episodes along with panic attacks having to prepare whatever I can with the data available for these reports. Should I resign without a new job available?

Salaryman at some company
If possible, it would be great if you could first clinch a job offer before resigning.
Before resigning, are the following things possible?
Consult a counsellor.
Get help from your team. Are you working in a team? Is there any way you can tap on your team members' expertise or fresh perspectives? It's always good to collaborate.
Calm down and do your best. If things do not work out, don't give up and try again. I'm not sure how receptive the upper management is, but if you are being stretched too much, you need to vocalise it. They need to have realistic expectations.
Request for training.

1) Should find a job 1st before jump.
2) But if really cant take it, make sure u have sufficient $$$ to last for your unemployment, before quit. Becoz jobless + no $$$ is very sad life, will get depression.
If you dont have sufficient $$$ are you willing to take on less glamorous job to pay the bill.
In singapore, if you dont mind hard work and "face" surviving is not an issue.
