No one can time the market. I made a mistake in 2016 cos everyone was talking about a crash (oil prices situation back then) so I stayed out of the market. As a result, I missed out on a huge amount of returns that I would have made if I had simply continued with my investments instead of holding back cos I was waiting for the crasah that didn't happen.

Use dollar cost averaging method. So that you dont need to time the market. Recommend to start now.
