Hey, PC! We'd love to give you a more personalised advice! Next Tuesday, on Nov 29, we're having a live seminar for consumers looking to buy a resale HDB as their first home. Our property agents will be there -- you can talk to them and really get to know your available options and what you should do next. If this sounds at all interesting to you, you can register here: https://bit.ly/nov29seminar We hope to see you there!

  • If definitely inheriting house from parents - e.g. only child + inherited house can last you till 95/99 - no hurry. If not, then shld buy asap.
  • Save enough cash for renovation/appliances/furnitures.
  • Buy within means / what you can afford and as early as possible.
  • Do homework as soon as possible (read up, go for viewing - for resale/showroom of 2 room flexi at HDB hub, talk to agents) and firm out what you want (size, price, amenities).
  • Not in 40s but have bought my home as a single.

Advise: be prudent with your purchase. at middle age, job security is of most concern and banks will...
