Hi,
I am a retail investor who finds trading share with minimum investment commission of ~$25 SGD kind of expensive as I usually trade in small amounts. Is there any way that I could avoid paying for the minimum commission when trading shares?

Can try looking at Interactive Brokers for low commission fees (<$USD 5) if you are vested in the US stock markets.

This is a no brainer. Just sign up with TD ameritrade for zero commission. You deserve better than be stuck with a couple of Temasek controlled stocks. In addition you have hundred times more stocks to pick winners from in the US market than Sgp. .....coke mcdonald citibank apple amazon.. can the local stock beat them?
