Is there a way that I can avoid paying for the minimum commission fee for trading shares?

Hi,

I am a retail investor who finds trading share with minimum investment commission of ~$25 SGD kind of expensive as I usually trade in small amounts. Is there any way that I could avoid paying for the minimum commission when trading shares?

Thank you.
