Not all companies will give confirmation raise.. Especially if you didn't talk about this prior to you sending the offer letter.
And im curious how toi get to know your colleagues gotythr confirmation raise

There's no harm going to your supervisor prior to the completion of probation and asking if you could get an adjustment to your salary, provided that you have been performing well. You are quite unlikely to get a pay raise if you don't ask, so just ask, there is nothing to lose. Even if they gave you $100/mth extra, it's still better than nothing.
