Is it wise to look at the composition of ETFs and pick a few stocks from there to focus on if I would like to try stock picking?

Wondering if I should start stock picking from the ETF compositions?

If you want to try stock picking then yes, but be mentally prepared that it will be more volatile. More chance to increase in value and likewise drop in value.

👍 yes. A safe way to stock pick. Those are market leaders. The leaders contribute most of the gain of the ETF

Hi Seedly folks! I want to stay invested, would like to get some ideas as to what stocks are you looking at to enter during this time? SGX, dividend stocks, REITS or US stocks (etf?)? Thanks!!

Would one encourage robo investors like syfe equity100 coupled with FMSone RSP with US etfs for starting investors? assuming one has low capital and intends to DCA, will focusing on both be wise?

If I am already vested in China markets via ETFs. Would it make sense to look at other ETFs focused on China sectors or should I look to other markets? ?

I have an STI and ST Engineering ETF, and the covid situation is making the value drop like mad. Should I hold out, and which stocks would you recommend buying in a market like this?
