Is it true that people who work in the ICT sector shouldn't need to worry about getting unemployed since we are in a digital world?

I'm thinking of entering this sector.

Well it is true that there could be worry for getting unemployed in ICT sector but that is true for other sectors as well. For example Banking sector is one example where there has been a lot of job losses as well but one of the benefit of the ICT sectors is you could always reskill amd continue to be relevant . Most of the sectors in digital world does have application of ICT skills like Fintech in Finance, Edutech in learning , Martech in marketing and communication, Adtech in advertising, Industry of Things in Industrial manufacturing etc.
